This firmware update will enable the latest satellite channels on the GOG99 meters, specifically KT6.

We recommend that only a professional installer perform the following update. Please note that our warranty does not cover problems caused by incorrect firmware updates.

It is best to keep the power adapter plugged in and charging during the firmware upgrade, and follow these steps to install the update:

1. Download the firmware from OneDrive.

2. Copy the file to a USB drive on your computer (do not change the file name).

3. Turn off the satellite meter.

4. Insert the USB drive into the USB port on the top of the meter.

5. Press and hold the power button until the upgrade progress bar appears on the screen.

6. Wait about 60 seconds for the update to finish.

7. When the upgrade is complete, press the power button again to turn on the satellite meter.

8. Go to Settings -> System -> Restore Factory Default in the menu.

9. Enter the password 000000 to restore factory settings, then press OK.

10. The new satellite channels should appear now.

NOTE: To change the frequency or symbol rate on the channel, i.e. KT6, go to the “Freq” or “Symbol” option. After that, press the OK button and select your desired setting from the pop-up menu.
